Roughly ⅓ of the food produced for human consumption every year (1.3 billion tonnes!) gets lost or wasted. That’s a lot of food, especially when you consider that 1 in 9 people in the world suffer from hunger! In my quest to be part of the solution (and not the problem!) I create all my menus with the intention of maximizing the use of ingredients and minimizing overall food waste.




I am an L.A. native living in Thai town with my husband and two dogs. For the last 7 years I've sat in an office dreaming about becoming a chef and opening a restaurant. Every year I promised myself that I would make that dream come true, and every year I failed to make any movement. Finally fed up with my dreams taking second chair to the "rat race", I decided (with the encouragement of my husband) to take the plunge. I quit my job and am focusing all my energy on making my dreams come true.
I'm a home cook with big dreams!
